What it is

Dr. GXB is a test system from GXB LLC. We are building a way to reach a care team by text message. This site shows how we designed it to work. Everything in it uses made-up patients and test settings.

Who it is for

The idea is for people who would rather text a care team than call or wait in a waiting room. It is not open to real patients. Anyone can read these pages and start the text-first demo by texting us first, from their own phone, with made-up details. The code sign-up form is currently off for most numbers: it is for invited testers while the preview is closed, so a stranger gets no code, and the answer looks the same either way. It is always a test: do not send real health details, and in an emergency call 911.

How a visit is designed to work

  1. In the live service, you would text a care team. An AI assistant would ask a few questions, such as who the visit is for and what is going on.
  2. A clinician is meant to review what you sent and decide what happens next. The assistant does not diagnose, treat or decide.
  3. Where allowed, a clinician can order lab tests or send a prescription to a pharmacy. In this preview those go only to test systems. Nothing real is ordered or sent.
  4. You get replies by text. A link in a text can open a web page with your visits and results.

Start here: text us first

The person texts us first. Send one text from your own phone to (817) 745-5827. It starts with the line DR GXB START (any capital letters), then one labelled line each:

We reply with a short summary and ask the person to reply YES to create a test chart. The text passes four things to us: the name, the date of birth, the symptoms and your agent's own opinion. We store them as patient-reported: they came from the person's own text and nobody has checked them. Nothing becomes a chart until the person replies YES. If the person replies NO, or has not replied YES after 24 hours, we delete it. Everything is deleted after 7 days. It is a test system and not a medical service.

By texting (817) 745-5827 you agree to get automated replies from the GXB EHR test line. Replies start with a test notice. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop the texts. Reply HELP for help.

The code sign-up form is currently off for most numbers: it is for invited testers while the preview is closed, so a stranger gets no code, and the answer looks the same either way. The code sign-up makes no patient record, conversation, visit or test chart, and it sends nothing after the code.
